The SEASB 2008 meeting will be held in Birmingham, Alabama on April
27-29, 2008. The primary aims of this meeting are to involve students;
to involve researchers from clinics and independent research
institutions; to involve professors and other researchers in
biomechanics from universities; to include all disciplines within ASB;
and to encourage membership and active involvement in ASB. The
organizers of SEASB 2008 encourage you to submit papers that fall within
the five disciplines stated in the ASB bylaws: (1) biological sciences,
(2) engineering and applied physics, (3) ergonomics and human factors,
(4) exercise and sport sciences, and (5) health sciences. Both modeling
and experimental work is encouraged at scales ranging from molecular to
the whole body level. This conference is geared toward professional
development of students; therefore, faculty and students are encouraged
to submit research ranging from works in progress to completed studies.
Early registration for students is free.
The deadline for abstract submission is January 15, 2008. Abstracts
should be submitted electronically at http://www.seasb.org/. Please see
